Everything But The Girl have announced their next album: 'Blue Reservoir' comes out on Buzzin' Fly/Virgin Music Group on 19 February 2027. According to the band, the ten songs grew out of their long-running residency at London's MOTH Club and were mostly recorded live at RAK Studios in July 2026 – with voices, guitars, double bass, drums and percussion. The first single is 'Young and Dumb'.
"There was an intensity and simplicity to the MOTH shows that took us back to how we started out," Tracey Thorn told Noise11. Ben Watt said the record "became quite an emotional springboard" for him: "I found a voice I thought I'd lost." According to the band's website, Watt and Thorn play four UK shows in May 2027 – 21 and 22 May at London's Union Chapel, 25 May at St George's Bristol and 26 May at the Albert Hall in Manchester; tickets go on sale on 30 October. No German dates have been announced so far.
