Aston Martin on Oct. 28 unveiled the Valhalla Spider, the open-top version of its mid-engined hybrid supercar. The car makes its public debut at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas this weekend. According to the automaker, the combined output of 1,079 PS comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (828 PS) and three electric motors (251 PS), with peak torque of 1,100 newton-meters.
With the hardtop fitted, the Spider is electronically limited to 350 kph (217 mph), and to 200 kph (124 mph) with the fabric roof, Aston Martin says; top speed is also achievable with the roof off. The company puts downforce at more than 600 kilograms. U.S. site Carscoops cites 0-100 kph in 2.5 seconds and a weight of 1,680 kilograms with lightweight options, 25 kilograms more than the coupe.
CEO Adrian Hallmark said the Valhalla Spider "ticks every box." Aston Martin has not announced pricing or production numbers; the Valhalla coupe is limited to 999 units. Deliveries are due to begin in the third quarter of 2027. The Aston Martin video shows the open-top Valhalla.
