US fashion trade paper WWD presented the WWD Honors 2026 in New York on Tuesday. The gala took place at Cipriani South Street and coincided with the magazine's Apparel & Retail CEO Summit. Haider Ackermann, who designs the Tom Ford label, was named Womenswear Designer of the Year. The Menswear Designer of the Year title went to Michael Rider, creative director of Celine.

LVMH chief Bernard Arnault received the John B. Fairchild Honor. Morris Goldfarb, head of G-III Apparel Group, was given the Creative Leadership Honor, and Henry Zankov was named “One to Watch”. Cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty won the award for public beauty company of the year.

The Ulta award was presented by Tracee Ellis Ross, founder of the Pattern Beauty brand. She wore an ivory satin ensemble from Rider's fall 2026 collection for Celine. “I am here showing up for my wonderful retail partner, Ulta,” she told WWD. According to WWD, Louisa Jacobson arrived in a pinstripe suit by Ackermann for Tom Ford – with no shirt underneath.
