Sportfreunde Stiller reschedule three cancelled concerts for spring 2027
Shows in Oberhausen, Aurich and Bremen were called off because singer Peter Brugger's voice was not holding up. New dates are set, and the tour is due to resume in Magdeburg tonight.

German band Sportfreunde Stiller have set new dates for three concerts on their anniversary tour that were cancelled at short notice. The shows affected were on Oct. 22 at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen – called off just hours before it was due to start – on Oct. 23 at the Sparkassen-Arena in Aurich and on Oct. 24 at Pier 2 in Bremen, Münster Aktuell reported, citing the band and local promoters.
The band initially cited only an illness. It later said singer Peter Brugger's voice was not holding up sufficiently and that, after further attempts to save the shows, it had become clear he could not perform. No diagnosis or recovery timeline was given.
The concerts will be made up in spring 2027: Aurich on March 12, Bremen on March 13 and Oberhausen on April 15. Tickets already bought remain valid; fans who cannot attend may return them through their original point of sale, according to the band. There is no commitment to reimburse travel and hotel costs, the report said. The next scheduled show is on Monday at the AMO Kulturhaus in Magdeburg.
