Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has given an update on Jamal Musiala. “He has resumed running training and will be available again in a few weeks,” Hainer told Bild, as reported by 90min and FCBinside. “He feels good physically and mentally. We support him and give him as much time as he needs.” And: “We're not worried.”
According to the club, Musiala suffered a torn muscle fibre in his right thigh before the Nations League opener in Amsterdam on 24 September and missed all four autumn games under head coach Jürgen Klopp. Hainer did not give a specific date for his comeback. “I think the whole country hopes Jamal gets back to his level,” the Bayern president said.
Whether Musiala will be an option for the last two Nations League group games, on 13 November in Serbia and on 16 November against the Netherlands in Berlin, remains open.
