Transavia France will resume flights between Paris-Orly and Burgas from 10 May 2027, Burgas Airport announced. It will be the second consecutive season after the route was launched in 2026. Tickets are already on sale on the airline's website. According to the city, the contest is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors from nearly 40 countries. On Saturday, Mayor Dimitar Nikolov also discussed year-round flights between Burgas and London Luton with the British Embassy.

The start coincides with the 71st Eurovision Song Contest, which Burgas hosts in 2027: the semi-finals take place on 11 and 13 May, the final on 15 May. Other airlines are also expanding their May schedules. Austrian Airlines will launch seasonal flights from Vienna to Burgas from 8 May. Bulgaria Air will increase Sofia–Burgas services to two flights a day from 2 to 19 May. British carrier Jet2 plans additional flights to Burgas from four UK airports in May 2027.
