Lazio moved level with Inter Milan at the top of Serie A on Sunday after Gennaro Gattuso's side beat Monza 3-1. Both teams have 16 points. According to Flashscore, Lazio won five of their opening six league matches for the first time in their history and remain unbeaten.
Nuno Tavares scored in the third minute and Gustav Isaksen doubled the lead in the first half. Monza played with 10 men from the 35th minute after Lorenzo Lucchesi was sent off. Saba Goglichidze pulled one back early in the second half before Andrea Pinamonti sealed the win late on.
"We can't look at the standings, otherwise we will get dizzy. We have to take it day by day," Gattuso said. Roma, playing with 10 men, were held 0-0 at Como, while AC Milan drew 1-1 at Sassuolo.
