LISA released her six-song EP 'Press Play' via LLOUD and RCA on 23 October, including the previously released single 'SaWaDiKa'. The focus track is 'Tarantino': in the video, the Thai rapper fights her way through a hotel to deliver a note to her favourite director, Quentin Tarantino. According to InMusic, the clip drew 41.9 million YouTube views in its first 24 hours – the year's second-biggest music video debut after 'SaWaDiKa'.
Hope Bernard of the Indiana Daily Student calls the EP hit-or-miss: 'SaWaDiKa', 'Cut U Off' and 'Tarantino' convince with catchy lines and Thai instrumentation, while 'Cobra', 'Sweat' and 'V12' fall flat. In November LISA plays six nights of 'Viva La LISA' at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; according to Bandwagon, two dates were added after the first four sold out quickly.
