Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for 'Jumanji: Open World'. The film reverses the premise of its predecessors: instead of the heroes being pulled into the video game, the game escapes its console and brings its chaos into the real world. Sony calls the film the final instalment of the trilogy.
Jake Kasdan directs again and co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Alongside Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan, Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, Ser'Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Nick Jonas and Danny DeVito are also back.
In Germany, 'Jumanji: Open World' opens in cinemas on 23 December 2026; in the US the film arrives at Christmas.
