Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for 'Dune: Part Three', the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve's science-fiction series based on Frank Herbert. The story picks up almost two decades after the second film: Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) rules as a feared emperor while betrayal and rebellion against him grow. The main source is Herbert's novel 'Dune Messiah'; Villeneuve co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan.
Zendaya returns as Chani, and Jason Momoa again plays Duncan Idaho – this time as an artificially revived 'ghola'. Robert Pattinson appears as the shapeshifter Scytale and Anya Taylor-Joy as Paul's sister Alia; Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson and Javier Bardem are among the other cast members. Villeneuve describes the film as a thriller with more action than its two predecessors.
In Germany, 'Dune: Part Three' opens in cinemas and IMAX on 17 December 2026, one day before the US. Advance ticket sales are already under way.
