Cologne rapper Sazou released her EP 'Nächste Ausfahrt Crashout City' on 23 October. Many know her from the casting show 'Prototyp Rapstar', where she finished eighth. The seven songs open with 'King Of Rap' over a trap beat; guests include MU$A386, Ramo, MP Freshly and Steve Jackson.
laut.de critic Julius Stabenow gives it four out of five. He praises hard-hitting, uncompromising street lyrics and the way she links them with mental-health themes, something few manage as well. Her strength lies in energy and impact rather than intricate flows or elaborate wordplay. He names 'Von Garnichts', built on a sample of 50 Cent's 'Many Men', as the high point, even if guest Ramo stays rather low-key there. His advice for the future: tell the stories even more concretely.
