At Thursday's final press conference, Emanuel Navarrete and O'Shaquie Foster set the stage for their unification fight. "He wants someone that's going to sit in front of him and I think my style is a little bit more difficult," Foster said, according to the Houston Chronicle. "He's going to feel a lot more than the jab, I promise him that."

Navarrete is hoping for a slugfest: "What I don't want is an entire night where we're just jabbing each other and we see who can jab more," the Mexican said. "I think they want to see a good fight. They want to see a war." Foster said he had pursued this fight for three years, according to the WBC.

Navarrete holds the WBO and IBF super-featherweight titles, Foster the WBC belt. The fight takes place on Saturday, October 24, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas; Top Rank promotes and DAZN broadcasts.
