Bournemouth recorded the biggest win in their history in their first-ever European campaign, beating seven-time European champions AC Milan 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday. Marco Rose's side have won all three league-phase games.

Justin Kluivert converted an early penalty awarded for handball after a VAR review. Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off just before the half-hour mark for shoving Tyler Adams in the face at a corner, and Marcus Tavernier scored the resulting penalty. Amine Adli curled a free kick into the top corner in the 84th minute.

Milan, coached by former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, failed to register a shot on target, according to The Telegraph. "It's a special night for the club," Bournemouth captain Ryan Christie said.
