Jaime Munguía expects the WBC fight between Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez and Christian Mbilli to end early. "I think that Canelo is going to knock out Mbilli. I don't know [what round] but he will knock him out," the WBA super-middleweight champion told Ring Magazine, as reported by Boxing News.
Asked whether Álvarez is training harder than ever, Munguía said: "Yeah. He is training good." According to Boxing News, Munguía is a stablemate and former opponent of Álvarez.
Álvarez challenges Mbilli for his WBC super-middleweight title on October 31 in Riyadh, live on DAZN. It is the Mexican's first fight since his defeat to Terence Crawford in 2025.
