Turkey have a new national team coach. The Turkish Football Federation appointed Sergen Yalcin on Tuesday on a four-year contract, Reuters reported.
Yalcin succeeds Vincenzo Montella, who was dismissed earlier this month after a poor UEFA Nations League campaign. "We wish Yalcin success in his new role and hope this decision proves auspicious for our country and our national team," the federation said in a statement.
