Amazon has released the trailer for 'Drive – The Pretenders'. The German-language film is produced by Bavaria Fiction in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios Germany and streams worldwide on Prime Video from 28 October. Sergej Moya directs from a screenplay by Chris Silber and Malina Nwabuonwor.
Lisa-Marie Koroll plays aspiring race mechanic Sarah Jenkins, with Amin Baahmed as racing star Dante Annunziata. The two fake an engagement – officially to repair his battered reputation, secretly because Sarah hopes for her own chance behind the wheel. But the game turns into something more, and the lie threatens to put everything at risk.
The film is based on Tamara Lush's Wattpad novel 'Drive'. The cast also includes Gustav Schmidt, Mišel Matičević, Lucie Heinze, Inka Friedrich, Jeanette Hain, Steven Gätjen and Leslie Malton.
