Swedish model Elsa Hosk returns to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway in Los Angeles on 18 October – after an eight-year break and, as Vogue Scandinavia notes, just months after giving birth to her second child. Hosk debuted in 2011, earned her wings in 2015, opened the 2016 show and wore the 1-million-dollar "Dream Angels Fantasy Bra" in 2018.
Hosk had already returned to the brand in April for a Mother's Day campaign, her first since 2018. Speaking to Marie Claire, she said it "really felt like a full-circle moment and the perfect moment for me to really make a little comeback", citing more size- and age-inclusive casting under creative director Adam Selman.
Vogue Scandinavia also traces the long line of Scandinavian models at the show: from Finland's Angelika Kallio at the first edition in 1995 at New York's Plaza Hotel, via Denmark's Helena Christensen (1996–97), to Sweden's Caroline Winberg, who walked seven consecutive shows from 2005 to 2011. Denmark's Josephine Skriver took part in the show's 2024 revival. An official teaser for the show is available on the Victoria's Secret YouTube channel.
