Danish jewellery group Pandora launched a collection with make-up artist Pat McGrath on 8 October. The 17 pieces – charms, rings and medallions – translate make-up into jewellery: lip-shaped signet rings, charms shaped like lipsticks and beauty tubes, and hands holding hearts. According to National Jeweler, they are made of silver and 14-karat gold plating, set with cubic zirconia.
“To me, makeup and jewelry have always been the same art,” McGrath said, according to National Jeweler. Jewellery, she added, is the same instinct “made eternal”. According to Luxe Digital, prices range from €39 to €199 in Europe and from $58 to $250 in the US. The campaign was photographed by Sølve Sundsbø with models Alton Mason, Ava Shipp, Chiharu Okunugi and Ali Dansky.
To mark the launch, Pandora held a public pop-up at Macy's Herald Square in New York on 8 October, JSM Culture reported. According to JSM Culture, Olandria Carthen fronts the campaign. The collection is available in selected Pandora stores and online.
