Watch brand Ming and the label Massena LAB have unveiled the 57.09 “Secret Honey”, a sequel to their 17.09 collaboration from 2021. The edition is limited to 125 pieces and priced at CHF 7,250 excluding taxes. Ming is taking orders exclusively through its own website from 15 October at 1 pm GMT.

The key feature is the dial: above a dark brown lacquered base sit three sapphire discs that rotate once every 24 hours, 12 hours and 60 minutes. According to Monochrome Watches, the honey hue only reveals itself when the discs move – hence the “Secret” in the name. While the earlier 17.09 Honey was static, the new watch's pattern is constantly in motion.

The titanium case measures 40 millimetres across and 10.17 millimetres high; the triple-stepped lugs come in natural titanium and yellow- and rose-gold-toned coatings. Inside is the Sellita-based Ming 330.M2 automatic movement with around 50 hours of power reserve. According to Worn & Wound, the watch will be on view at WatchTime New York this weekend. The video can be seen on Ming's official YouTube channel.
