Frieze London opened in Regent's Park on 14 October with a preview for invited guests. The art fair and its sister event Frieze Masters run until 18 October. According to The Art Newspaper, guests at the preview included actors Andrew Garfield, Monica Barbaro and Russell Tovey and artists Lubaina Himid and Sue Webster.

Several fashion brands are using the week for their own events, as compiled by Wallpaper*. Stone Island is partner of the Frieze Focus section, is showing the archive display “Selected Works '982–'026” at The Corner Shop in Selfridges until 6 November and is selling a Frieze T-shirt with a print by Arébénor Basséne. Dunhill is hosting the Frieze Masters talks from 14 to 17 October under the title “Breaking the Mould”, with Es Devlin, Grayson Perry and Goshka Macuga.

On the evening of 15 October, Dover Street Market in Haymarket celebrates Frieze with book signings and the relaunch of the Comme des Garçons magazine “Six”; Marc Quinn, Martine Rose and Tim Walker are among those announced. JW Anderson is showing 30 glass wind chimes by Cerith Wyn Evans at its Pimlico store. The video can be seen on Frieze's official YouTube channel.
