Merab Dvalishvili is ready for battle ahead of his third fight with Petr Yan. "I'm ready for a 25-minute war," the Georgian told Arab News. The two meet on October 24 in the co-main event of UFC 333 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, with Yan defending his bantamweight title. In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski defends the featherweight belt against Movsar Evloev.
Their head-to-head record stands at one win each. Dvalishvili called Yan the most dangerous fighter in his weight class right now and said fans would see him "much sharper, much focused". He described himself as more of a grappler and Yan as a striker, promising a high-level fight.
According to Arab News, it is Dvalishvili's first fight in Abu Dhabi, and UFC 333 is the UFC's 24th event in the Emirati capital. If he regains the title, he wants to face Song Yadong next, who recently beat Umar Nurmagomedov.
