Osasuna have dismissed coach Luis Miguel Ramis, the Pamplona club said on Monday, adding the decision was taken at a board meeting that morning. Four members of his staff also left. Osasuna have conceded 18 goals and taken just eight points from eight La Liga games, and lost 5-2 at Real Betis on Sunday.
Jagoba Arrasate returns for a second spell on a contract until June 30, 2029. His 256 matches in charge are the second-most in Osasuna's history; his first spell included promotion, the 2023 Copa del Rey final and Conference League qualification.
Arrasate's first match back is at home to Racing Santander at El Sadar next Sunday.
