Taylor Swift has become only the second act to spend 100 weeks at the top of the US album chart. Her album 'The Life of a Showgirl' is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated October 17 for a 14th week. The September 25 reissue with four previously unreleased songs had lifted it from No. 21 back to the top the previous week. Swift's 100 weeks are spread across 15 No. 1 albums.
Only the Beatles have more weeks at No. 1, with 132, followed by Elvis Presley with 67. Fittingly, the Beatles sit at No. 4 this week with the reissue of 'Rubber Soul'. Drake jumps from No. 116 to No. 2 with 'HABIBTI' after that album was also expanded with four songs.
It is the first time Swift, Drake and the Beatles share the top five – all three boosted by new editions with extra material. Drake and Swift now have 15 No. 1 albums each. Billboard publishes the full chart on October 13.
