British prog rock musician Steven Wilson releases his ninth studio album, 'Requiem For A Village', on 6 November 2026 via Fiction Records. It is set in the fictional village of Larkstone – according to the press notes, in a 'Wicker Man' landscape where the paintings of Stanley Spencer hang in the local art gallery. Formats include CD, Blu-ray, double vinyl and a box set with two CDs and a Blu-ray in a 96-page hardback book.

For 'On Chapel Slope' Wilson teamed up with director Mike Bennion. In the clip, villagers rise from the graveyard around a church, rural England looks decayed, and the guests at a wedding grow increasingly unsettling. Wilson and his partner Rotem play the central characters. Classic Rock describes the video as folk horror.

The video is the official music video for 'On Chapel Slope'.
