Hoffenheim beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Sunday, scoring all three goals in the final 12 minutes of a long-balanced match in Sinsheim. Andrej Kramaric converted a 79th-minute penalty after Edmond Tapsoba fouled Fisnik Asllani.

Alexander Prass made it 2-0 in the 89th minute from Kramaric's pass. The Austrian, already booked, took off his shirt while celebrating and was shown a second yellow card moments later. Max Moerstedt added the third in stoppage time, tapping in after Kramaric's shot hit the crossbar.

According to the club, the win also brought Hoffenheim's 1,000th Bundesliga goal. Hoffenheim moved up to 10th place. Leverkusen also lost defender Loic Bade, who went off after a collision with Moerstedt.
