Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators are back with 'Flying Blind', the title track of their fifth studio album together, due on 26 February 2027 via Gibson Records. The twelve songs were recorded largely live with producer Michael 'Elvis' Baskette at Studio Barbarosa in Florida. Slash calls it 'a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record', while Myles Kennedy says the sounds and performances are his favourite of all their albums.
The clip was directed by John Harvatine IV and, according to Blabbermouth, shot at The Viper Room in Los Angeles. Classic Rock describes it as a stop-motion film featuring a campervan, a fan with a difficult boyfriend and a hot-air balloon. Alongside Slash (guitar, pedal steel) and Kennedy (vocals), the band features Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz and Frank Sidoris.
The video is the official music video for 'Flying Blind'. In 2027 the band plays, among other dates, Munich's Zenith on 7 June, Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf on 10 June, Düsseldorf on 28 June and Hills of Rock in Plovdiv on 25 July.
