Delain are starting a new chapter: singer Diana Leah announced her departure on 19 October after just one studio album, 'Dark Waters' (2023). Rather than look for a replacement, Martijn Westerholt's band are embracing collaboration 'on a much broader scale'. New single 'We Are Fire' is sung by Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie), Noa Gruman and Paolo Ribaldini. According to Westerholt, it is 'about the inner fire that keeps us moving forward'.
In February 2027 the band tour with Marko Hietala, Erni, Gruman and Ribaldini as guests, Infected Rain as special guest and Persefone in support. Dates: Cologne (2 Feb, Live Music Hall), Bremen (3 Feb, Modernes), Berlin (4 Feb, Columbia Theater), Leipzig (5 Feb, Hellraiser), Karlsruhe (6 Feb, Substage), Pratteln/CH (7 Feb, Z7), Munich (8 Feb, Backstage), Frankfurt (9 Feb, Batschkapp).
Esch-sur-Alzette (10 Feb, Rockhal) and Tilburg (11 Feb, 013) follow. Tickets are already on sale, and more international dates are to be announced soon. The video is the official music video for 'We Are Fire'.
