Tottenham Hotspur head into Saturday's London derby at Chelsea (1630 GMT) with selection problems after manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed left back Destiny Udogie is unavailable. Winger Savio and midfielder Lucas Bergvall are also out. James Maddison, who scored on his first start in 536 days in Monday's 3-1 win over Coventry City, is a doubt. "I don't know if he's ready for tomorrow," De Zerbi said, explaining that Maddison had not trained with the squad for three days.
There was better news on full backs Pedro Porro and Andy Robertson and forward Omar Marmoush, who are all available. Dejan Kulusevski's involvement is uncertain after he initially trained on his own. "I don't want to take risks," the Italian said, pointing to the number of injuries across European football. The win over Coventry was Tottenham's first in the league this season, and they sit 16th with six points.
Chelsea are fourth on 13 points and, according to Reuters, are chasing a seventh straight league win over Tottenham, who have won only once in their last 36 league games at Stamford Bridge. De Zerbi said he wanted the poor record to give his players "more motivation, more mentality, more energy to win a game". He described Chelsea's front three as "one of the best, for sure".
