Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez faces WBC champion Christian Mbilli in Riyadh on 31 October – and in Mexico the fight will be on free-to-air television. TV Azteca officially announced on 16 October that it will broadcast the card with its own boxing team.

Internationally, the event is on DAZN. For Canelo it is about returning to the top of the super middleweight division: according to The Ring, he is seeking to become a three-time champion at the weight – it is his first fight since his decision loss to Terence Crawford in September 2025.

Whether the fight can go ahead in Riyadh is still being debated because of the tense security situation in Saudi Arabia. Promoter Turki Alalshikh is so far sticking to the date.
