'The Beekeeper 2': German trailer – Jason Statham must save the US president
Leonine has released the German trailer for 'The Beekeeper 2'. Jason Statham returns as Adam Clay, with Timo Tjahjanto directing. The film opens in German cinemas on 14 January 2027.

Leonine Studios has released the German trailer for 'The Beekeeper 2'. Jason Statham once again plays Adam Clay, a former government assassin. David Ayer directed the 2024 original; the sequel is directed by Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto ('Nobody 2'). As with the first film, the screenplay is by Kurt Wimmer.
In the sequel Clay is a wanted man: the Beekeepers, the organisation that once trained him, have gone rogue and want to seize control of the government. Clay has to protect US President Jessica Danforth (Jemma Redgrave). Jeremy Irons returns as former CIA director Wallace Westwyld, while newcomers include Pom Klementieff, Adam Copeland and Yara Shahidi.
The action film opens in German cinemas on 14 January 2027 (FSK 16). In the US it opens on 15 January, according to Dark Horizons, where Amazon MGM Studios premiered the trailer.
