British singer-songwriter Marika Hackman has announced her fifth studio album: 'False Dogs' comes out on Chrysalis Records on February 19, 2027. To launch it, she released opening track '33' on October 14, a bittersweet single that, in Hackman's words, grapples with the dull ache of nostalgia. Hackman told NME it is the first record in which she has 'fully inhabited' her creative skin.

After UK shows, including London's Royal Festival Hall on February 26, Hackman comes to Germany in March: Cologne (Mar 11, Gebäude 9), Hamburg (Mar 12, Molotow) and Berlin (Mar 13, Heimathafen). Other stops include Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen and Stockholm.

According to NME, a presale starts on October 22 at 10am UK time, with general sale on October 23. Hackman's last album, 'Big Sigh', came out in 2024.
