RB Leipzig are looking to get back on track after two heavy defeats. Following a 6-1 loss at Bayern Munich and a 4-1 Champions League defeat at Real Madrid, Martín Demichelis' team hosts promoted SV Elversberg on Saturday (3:30 p.m. local time). Leipzig are unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga this season and have never lost in 40 Bundesliga games against promoted teams.
Demichelis warned about the opponent, calling Elversberg "a very nasty team that is not in the Bundesliga by chance and has already beaten some opponents." Asked about the pressure, the Argentine stayed calm: "What happens if we only draw? Should I kill the players?" He said he would "always be positive" and took the criticism on himself: "It's better to criticize the coach than the players."
Demichelis announced changes to his starting lineup. Christopher Nkunku is doubtful with minor adductor problems, according to the dpa news agency.
