Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka for Saturday's Premier League home game against Everton, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed on Friday. The 25-year-old hurt his thigh around 10 minutes into Wednesday's 2-2 Champions League draw at Bayern Munich.

"He's going for an MRI this afternoon because he had a lot of fluid in the area," Arteta said, according to Reuters. "We will know tomorrow." When a player is struggling to walk off the pitch, "they are not good signs", the Spaniard added.

Arteta also pointed to the workload, saying his side have to play three times in less than six days, and that the club needs to understand how to manage Saka's load once he returns.
