Lille host Galatasaray on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. German time. Both teams are still without a point in the league phase: Lille lost 3-2 to Real Betis and 3-0 at Arsenal, while Galatasaray lost 3-1 at Sporting and 4-1 to Barcelona.
Coach Davide Ancelotti said before the game: "We have to start taking points in the Champions League." He noted that 18 points are still available and that nine points were enough to advance last year and 10 two years earlier. His players are ready and have enough confidence and motivation, he said.
