German rapper Casper is bringing back his Zurück Zuhause Festival. He will perform on 19 and 20 December at the Lokschuppen in Bielefeld, music magazine VISIONS reports. Both evenings centre on XOXO, his 2011 major-label debut, which turns 15 this year. A reissue of the album is also planned to mark the anniversary. The festival last took place in 2023.
No guests have been named for this year's edition yet. Previous line-ups included Tua, Dilla and Temmis (2023) as well as Amilli, Pabst and Kummer (2019). Casper's most recent solo concert was also in Bielefeld, in 2024, in front of 28,000 people. His latest studio album is Nur Liebe, Immer, released in 2023. It was followed by the live album Live in Bielefeld; Casper is not announcing a new studio album.
Casper says XOXO, now 15 years old, marked the most daring leap into the iciest water of his life. Ticket sales start on Wednesday, 21 October, at 4pm (German time) via the artist's official shop. The XOXO reissue can also be pre-ordered from then. The report does not give ticket prices. It marks the festival's first edition in three years.
