Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday, handing Hansi Flick's side their first defeat of the season and ending an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions. Desire Doue gave PSG the lead at the Parc des Princes in the 38th minute before Xavi Espart levelled in the 55th on his first Champions League start.
Lucas Hernandez headed the hosts back in front from a corner and Lamine Yamal replied with a solo goal to make it 2-2. Vitinha restored PSG's lead two minutes later and Fabian Ruiz sealed the win late on. PSG top the league phase with nine points from three games, while Barcelona slipped to fifth on six points.
Flick accepted the result, saying PSG "proved they are better than us," according to Goal, citing AS. His team made too many mistakes, especially in possession, he said, according to AFP. It was PSG's third win in three league-phase games. Barcelona face Real Madrid in La Liga on Sunday.
