My Chemical Romance shared the previously unreleased song 'Someone Out There Loves You' on 16 October. According to NME, the recording comes from an October 2007 show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey. It previews the expanded anniversary edition of 'The Black Parade': the 2006 album returns on Friday 23 October with the full original tracklist plus six bonus tracks – three live recordings from Hoboken and three scattered B-sides. James Jean, who drew the original cover, has created three new pieces of art for it.
'20 years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record,' the band wrote. Their 'Long Live The Black Parade' anniversary tour has already completed its UK and European leg. From 21 October the band play five consecutive nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles – the first band ever to do so, according to NME.
Fans are also hoping for new music. Singer Gerard Way told a crowd in San Antonio in September: 'You guys kept us alive so long. You guys deserve another record.' The band has not officially announced a new album.
