Netflix has released the official trailer for 'Tyler Perry's The Gospel of Christmas'. R&B singer Durrell 'Tank' Babbs plays Isaac, who inherits his family's struggling church in New York. With his wife Rebecca (Fantasia Barrino Taylor), he tries to rebuild the congregation, but doubts put his faith to the test. "This is not my dream. I'm not a good preacher," Isaac says in the trailer.
Tyler Perry wrote and directed the film, and Kirk Franklin produces the music. Numerous gospel greats appear, including CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar and The Clark Sisters. It is Perry's third Christmas film after 'A Madea Christmas' (2013) and 'Finding Joy' (2025).
The film premieres on Netflix on Nov. 11, 2026.
