Hardcore punk band Turnstile played a free benefit concert at the Washington Monument in the US capital on Saturday 24 October. According to NME, an estimated 60,000 people attended the 75-minute set, which closed the band's North American tour for the 2025 album 'Never Enough' that began in June.

The show was organised together with the charity Human Concern International. Donations go to humanitarian efforts in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon; according to reports cited by NME, more than $200,000 was raised. "Today we're here to gather around music to celebrate humanity," singer Brendan Yates said on stage, according to The Washington Post.

The 19-song setlist included 'Birds', 'Mystery', 'Holiday' and 'Never Enough'. NME notes that in the 1990s the Washington punk band Fugazi was known for playing free benefit gigs in the city.
