Borussia Dortmund will be without Konstantinos Karetsas for Saturday's Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt (1630 GMT). "We won't have him tomorrow," coach Niko Kovac told a news conference on Friday ahead of the seventh round.
Kovac left open whether Karetsas could return for Tuesday's German Cup tie against Werder Bremen. "It's better to rest one more game than perhaps a month," he said. Kaua Prates is also out with a minor muscle problem, while Emre Can and Giannis Konstantelias are sidelined long term with cruciate ligament tears.
The Frankfurt match opens a busy week for Dortmund, who visit Bayern Munich after the cup tie against Bremen.
