The OKTAGON 95 main event in Karlovy Vary on Saturday is off. Dominik Humburger weighed 85.8 kg at Friday morning's official weigh-in – 1.4 kg over the allowance (middleweight limit of 83.9 kg plus 0.5 kg tolerance for non-title fights). Even after the two-hour grace period, the scale still read 85.0 kg. Patrik Kincl, who made weight at 84.3 kg, then refused the fight; OKTAGON confirmed the cancellation at the public weigh-in.

"You had one job. Today you were supposed to make weight," Kincl said, according to Sportnet. He said he had counted every gram for three months, "and then someone just doesn't care at all and is even amused by it." Humburger apologised: "I don't want to make excuses. It was my fault." He said he apologised to Kincl on a sporting level, "on a personal level, not so much."

OKTAGON boss Ondřej Novotný called it "a terrible situation": "As much as I'd love to see that fight tomorrow, we have to respect it." Finding a replacement opponent for Humburger at the last minute had been difficult. The new main event is the light heavyweight bout between Daniel Škvor (93.1 kg) and Tomasz Narkun (93.5 kg).
