Death and thrash metal band Dieth will release a new album in March 2027. It will come out on the label Fireflash Records, Bulgarian music portal WeRock.bg reports. The record does not have a title yet. The single 'Pound of Flesh' has been released as a first taste.
It is the band's first new music since the departure of former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. His place has been taken by Tobias Cristiansson, who has previously worked with Swedish bands including Grave, Necrophobic and Dismember.
Producer Ronnie Björnström recorded, mixed and mastered the new single. The band has not yet revealed further details about the album, such as the tracklist, or any tour dates.
