Como beat Manchester United 4-1 on matchday three of the Champions League league phase on Wednesday. Nico Paz put the hosts ahead in the second minute at the Stadio Sinigaglia. After the break Anastasios Douvikas added a second from a Paz pass in the 49th minute, before Paz pounced on a Carlos Baleba error to make it 3-0 in the 57th. Jacobo Ramon added a fourth in the 76th minute.
Joshua Zirkzee pulled one back in stoppage time from an Amad Diallo assist, preventing United from matching their 4-0 loss at Barcelona in 1994-95, the club's heaviest defeat in the competition.
It was a second win in three games for Cesc Fabregas's side, who opened with a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig before losing 3-2 at Feyenoord. The result piles further pressure on United manager Michael Carrick after a 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid and poor Premier League form.
