"Burlesque the Musical", the stage version of the film of the same name, with songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren among others, is currently touring the UK. The production plays The Alexandra in Birmingham from October 6 to 17, followed by Sheffield (October 27 to 31) and High Wycombe. According to BroadwayWorld, the 33-week tour runs until May 2027; it is written and directed by Steven Antin.
The return to London's West End, originally planned for September 2026 at The Arts at Marble Arch, has been postponed to 2027, theatre site West End Wilma reported. The musical played a season at the Savoy Theatre in summer 2025, drawing mixed reviews: The Guardian gave it five stars, the Daily Mail one.
In Las Vegas, Dita Von Teese continues her revue at Voltaire in The Venetian Resort, with October performances scheduled for October 8 to 11, 15 to 18 and 22 to 25. The show, featuring vintage showgirl costumes by Bob Mackie and Pete Menefee, has run since autumn 2024 and has been extended several times. "Performing at Voltaire has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career," Von Teese said when the run was extended in 2025.
