Milwaukee's Summerfest has named Zac Brown Band its first headliner for 2027. The Grammy-winning Southern rock and country band will play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Friday, June 25, 2027, the second night of the opening weekend. The announcement came Sept. 8.
The festival at Henry Maier Festival Park runs over three weekends in 2027: June 24–26, July 1–3 and July 8–10. General public sales for the show began Sept. 11, and each concert ticket includes festival admission on the day of the show. More headliners will be announced in the coming months.
It will be the band's eighth Summerfest appearance since 2012, according to OnMilwaukee; their last was in 2023. Founded in 1968, Summerfest hosts hundreds of performances on 12 stages along the Lake Michigan shore, WISN reported. The festival's video looks back at the 2026 edition.
