SOFIX slips 0.25% to 1,504.88 as Eurohold accounts for over half of turnover
SOFIX lost 0.25% to 1,504.88 points on turnover of about €4 million. More than half came from Eurohold shares (€2.1 million); the stock fell 1.54% to €1.28.
The Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed mixed on 15 October. The main index SOFIX fell 0.25% to 1,504.88 points. BGBX40 (the 40 most liquid shares) eased 0.17% to 246.09. BGTR30 (30 equally weighted shares) rose 0.11% to 1,155.44. The real-estate index BGREIT gained 0.89% to 245.63 and the growth-market index beamX 0.32% to 130.36.
Turnover was about €4 million, lower than on Wednesday. Around €718,000 of it came from foreign shares in the MTF BSE International segment. The biggest SOFIX losers were Chimimport (down 2.5% to €0.585) and First Investment Bank (down 2.27% to €4.30). The biggest gainers were the real-estate fund FNIB (up 2.54% to €2.83) and Doverie United Holding (up 1.57% to €7.76). FNIB also had the most trades: 135, with turnover of €488,000.
Energy holding Eurohold Bulgaria was again at the centre of trading. Its shares changed hands for €2.1 million in 78 trades – more than half of the exchange's turnover. The last trade, at 16:54, was at €1.28, 1.54% below Wednesday's price. According to infostock.bg, the price ranged between €1.26 and €1.43 during the day.
