Sofia bourse ahead of the new week: Gradus plans interim dividend, Eurohold at €1.31
After a turbulent week, SOFIX enters the new one at 1,521.90 points (Friday close). Gradus proposes an interim dividend of €0.07 per share, and ImPulse Rastezh will trade Bulgarian shares short-term.
The Bulgarian Stock Exchange enters the new week after a difficult few days. The main index SOFIX closed on Friday, 16 October, at 1,521.90 points – up 1.13% on the day but down 0.68% on the week, according to BTA and infostock.bg. Eurohold Bulgaria ended at €1.31 (+2.34% on Friday, –17.09% on the week). We found no new announcements from the holding since Friday.
The main company news of the weekend concerns a dividend. Investor.bg reported on 18 October that poultry producer Gradus has called an extraordinary general meeting for 30 November in Stara Zagora. Shareholders will vote on an interim dividend of €0.07 gross per share – €11,565,499.40 in total. Payment is due to start on 28 December. Gradus has a market value of just over €285 million; its shares rose by more than 7% over the week.
ImPulse Rastezh (ImPulse Growth) said on Friday evening that it will start limited short-term trading in shares, warrants and bonds of Bulgarian issuers listed on the exchange. The aim is to manage spare cash better. Limits: up to 10% of net asset value in total and up to 1% per issuer.
Energy stocks trade rarely. Petrol last traded on 16 October at €0.262, Toplivo on 28 September at €4.20. We found no new exchange announcements from energy companies over the weekend.
