The Bulgarian Stock Exchange had a weak Tuesday. The main index SOFIX fell 2.76% on 13 October to 1,486.60 points – back to its end-September level, according to Investor.bg. BGBX40 (the 40 most liquid shares) dropped 1.79% to 243.95, BGTR30 (30 equally weighted shares) 0.47% to 1,153.87 and the growth-market index beamX 1.53% to 125.58. Only the real-estate index BGREIT rose, up 0.36% to 243.63. Main-market turnover was €407,030, and about €490,000 in total.

The fall was driven by Eurohold Bulgaria: its shares lost 17.61% to €1.31. The extraordinary shareholder meeting on 12 October did not back the proposal to start a procedure to stop being a public company. Supervisory board chairman Asen Hristov said the pension and investment funds among the shareholders did not support it. On the same day, trading began in almost 521 million new Eurohold warrants (code EUBGW) – rights to buy shares at €1.25 within 10 years. Hristov described the group as a pure energy holding.

Eurohold also had the most trades (41), ahead of Sopharma (36; turnover €74,100; +0.76% to €2.64). Shelly Group had the highest turnover at €86,000, closing at €65.60 (–0.15%). Elhim-Iskra lost 7.28%. Chimimport (€0.60) and the exchange's own shares (€7.54) were unchanged.

Among energy stocks, Petrol fell 6.33% according to Investor.bg; the trade price was not published in the sources checked. Toplivo again saw no trades – its last price is €4.20 from 28 September.
