Svishtov: three companies have filed statements of investment intent for the Danube Industrial Technology Park. Akvilon – AM plans an egg packing centre (about 50 jobs), Multimodal Hypergrid and Digital Systems a data centre for AI uses with its own power generation and storage (about 60), and Bogara a warehouse and logistics base (about 50). The municipality reported this at a council session (BTA, 29 Oct). No amounts were given.

Blagoevgrad: power distributor ERM Zapad is investing nearly EUR 10m in the region's grid in 2026. About EUR 3.8m goes to connecting new customers and EUR 3m to replacing meters. New transformer stations are planned in Sandanski, Banya and Dobrinishte (Actualno, 29 Oct).

Business sentiment is worsening: the NSI statistics office's overall indicator fell 2.1 points to 13.2% in October. Services dropped most (−6.9 points to 1.5%), followed by industry (−2.8 to 14.1%). Only retail improved (+1.2 to 26.5%); construction was almost unchanged (+0.4 to 9.7%) (NSI, 29 Oct). Industry groups warn that energy-intensive plants are pausing work because of high power prices. They named no firms.

The table covers 21–29 Oct. Projects with a stated value total EUR 223.49m, with 546 new jobs announced (own calculation). The closure of the wool plant in Sliven (20 Oct, −140 jobs) now falls outside the period.
