SOFIX rises for a third day to 1,569.09 points – Eurohold climbs to €1.41
The Sofia bourse's main index gained 0.85% on its 26th birthday. Turnover was €7.07 million, mostly in bonds. Petrol shares traded again.
The Bulgarian Stock Exchange rose for a third session in a row. The main index SOFIX closed on Tuesday, 20 October, at 1,569.09 points – up 0.85%. BGBX40 rose 0.96% to 252.63 points, BGTR30 0.86% to 1,178.17 and BGREIT (the index of real estate companies) 0.08% to 244.88 points. The data come from Investor.bg and infostock.bg. We could not confirm a closing level for beamX.
Turnover was €7.07 million, according to Investor.bg. Most of it came from bonds. Among stocks, Eurohold Bulgaria again led with €2.3 million. The shares rose 4.44% to €1.41. Next came Shelly Group (€255,000), Doverie United Holding (€205,000) and Eleven Capital (€204,000). Doverie United Holding saw the most trades – 75.
Besides Eurohold, Central Cooperative Bank (+3.83%) and Elana Agrocredit (+0.96%) gained. Wiser Technologies (–2.35%), First Investment Bank (–0.44%) and Shelly Group (–0.3%) fell. SOFIX started on 20 October 2000 at 100 points, news agency BTA recalled. In early October it passed 1,500 points for the first time since 2008.
Among energy stocks, Petrol had a new trade: €0.270 (+3.05%) at 11:32. Volume was tiny – 38 shares for about €10. Toplivo has had no trade since 28 September (€4.20). We found no new announcements from energy companies.
